Meet our students

DHLK Educational Trust are sponsoring students who attend Vuze primary School (click here to read more information on the school).  Vuze primary school is a co-educational government school that was established in 1966, with students from Pre-school to Grade 9.  It is based in the Eastern Province of Zambia in a rural area of Chipata, a city which is near the border of Malawi that is located 52 miles from Lusaka, the capital city of Zambia and the school is surrounded by 14 villages. 16% of the pupils are orphans or vulnerable and most of the parents and guardians who send their children to the school are peasant farmers.

In January 2019 our students started grade 9, which is a very important year for them as this is a national examination year.

As can be seen from the table below (Table 1) showing the results scored by the students during the 2018 academic year, they all did very well.  They have been very pleased by your support and the progress that they made during the 2018 academic year, which has given them the confidence and encouragement to succeed during the 2019 academic year.

On behalf of the Dr Henry Langazye Kaluba Educational Trust (DHLK Educational Trust) sponsorship students, we would like to say a very big thank you for your donations and for the educational support that this has afforded the students during the 2018 academic year.
